Testing Procedure of The Coin Vibration Motor Current

To test the coin vibration motor current, you can follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the power to the motor to ensure safety during testing.

2. Use a multimeter to measure the current within the appropriate range.

3. Place the multimeter in series with the power supply and vibration motor.

4. Monitor the current reading on the multimeter while the motor is running. This will give you the current draw of the motor.

Note the current reading and compare it to the specifications provided by the manufacturer to ensure the motor is operating within its expected current range.

After testing, disconnect the power supply and multimeter from the motor.

Always use caution and follow proper safety procedures when working with electrical equipment. If you are unsure about any part of this process, consult a qualified professional or the motor manufacturer.

See from above two photos, as soon as the power is applied, both the speed and the current are displayed.
At the same voltage, the current drops by 5mA when the coin motor is pressed firmly. That is a normal situation.
When the motor is not pressed, it is in a free state, so the 8mm micro coin vibration motor jerks more and the current is higher. When the vibration motor is pressed firmly, the motor jitter is eliminated and the current stabilizes.
