The vibration motor, as an important part of the smart ring, adds interactivity and practicality to the ring, especially in terms of notification and user experience. Through the vibration motor, the smart ring is able to communicate more closely and intuitively with the user.
The primary role of vibration motors in smart rings is to provide haptic feedback. When the ring receives messages such as incoming calls, text messages, social media notifications, etc., the vibration motor will immediately activate and alert the user by vibrating. This type of reminder not only avoids the embarrassment of checking the screen frequently, but also allows the user to keep track of the status of the device without disturbing others. Additionally, when the user's heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, or other metrics become abnormal, the vibration motor will alert the user to take prompt action.
What We Produce
Combining the dual requirements of “ultra-compact size” and “stable performance” LEADER has developed two motors specifically suited for smart rings based on market demand—the brushless motor LBM0620 and LBM0525. Brief descriptions as follow:
LBM0525, Dia5mmxT2.5mm. Its diameter breaks through the current limit of the traditional coin type vibration motor which reaches 5mm.
LBM0620, Dia6mmxT2.0mm, with thickness compressed to 2.0mm dimensions, is suitable for projects with specific thickness requirements.

Both products utilize a Hall IC-based BLDC solution to replace the traditional rotor motor's “brush commutation” mechanism. This significantly reduces internal motor space while maintaining performance stability comparable to conventional rotor motors. Simultaneously, it minimizes internal friction, resulting in the LBM0525 achieving over four times the lifespan of the traditional coin motor LCM0720. The LBM0620 boasts a lifespan ten times that of the coin motor LCM0720!
LEADER maintains an optimistic forecast for the development of smart rings. As the market is changing and the vibration motors are becoming more miniaturized, LEADER will invest more in R&D to develop more miniaturized vibration motors. LEADER is also developing the bldc motor of 0520 and 0518, which will be used in a wider range of applications and will contribute to the development of smart rings.
